New to Hot Yoga? We've Got Answers

Is hot yoga safe for beginners?

Absolutely! We recommend reading the class description to see if the class is the right fit for you. Come to class hydrated and an open mind. Some great classes for beginners are: mindful movement yoga, hatha, gentle flow, flow and stretch.

What's the difference between infrared and regular hot yoga?

FAR-infrared panels heat your body directly rather than just heating the air, providing therapeutic benefits including improved circulation, faster muscle recovery, and deeper detoxification.

Do I need to be flexible to start?

Not at all! Hot yoga actually helps you develop flexibility faster than regular yoga. Come as you are – flexibility is a result of practice, not a prerequisite.

Do you offer free parking?

Yes. Free parking is available, so you can arrive calm and ready to move. We have 2 over flow parking lots across the street from the studio.

How do I book a class?

Download the Prana Hot app. Search “Prana Hot” in your app store or google play. Use it to book, reschedule, and manage your passes.

Is there a place to connect before or after class?

Yes. Our gathering space/reception area is open for quick chats, catching up with friends, or meeting new people.

What do I do if I am struggling in class?

If you find yourself struggling in a class, mentally or physically we suggest members take a comfortable posture, such as child's pose, down dog, table top or simply lying on your back. This will give your body and mind rest. We suggest not leaving the hot room as there is a 20 degree temperature difference and it can be a shock to the body. The most advanced practitioner takes rest when they need it. Yoga is all about connecting with your breath, mind and body and most importantly listening to the body and not pushing through.
